Surrender 101Sample
For many of you, even though you’ve committed your life to Christ, you might feel like you need to surrender something. When you surrender your weariness, will, and faint heart to the Lord, you must wait upon Him. We read how God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation from the real stories of transformation in this plan. Even today, we remember that God is full of grace and mercy. God is not a dictator; He is a loving Father. There is no limit to what He will do for us, no end to His blessings if we surrender to Him.
God can't use you to do His will when you only give Him pieces of your heart and will. We must surrender to God the whole of who we are AND be willing to abide. It’s vital to be one in togetherness and connect to the best power source, God. Like a running vehicle needs fuel to propel itself forward, we are the same. We need to be continually surrendered and connected to the power of God. We need constant refilling and continuous connection, from strength to strength. Then, we are yoked as one team under His constant care. And remember, some of God's greatest gifts come in the form of unanswered prayers.
God's promises are true and worth waiting for. Worth the wait for each blessing. The “yes”—answered prayers by God are easy. However, God's “no” or “not yet” answers require greater faith on our part. We must rest in the promises of God. He loves you; He is for you. He knows best. This is where our trust is challenged. We must understand that His answers are based on His everlasting presence, omniscience, and sovereign will. God has a greater vantage point and views our lives differently than we can. Often, our unfulfilled request will make sense later. We must trust that He has a better plan. Surrender is trusting God. This is the surrender God asks of us. In that place of complete trust, He gives us a deep rest and peace.
A prayer for surrender: Heavenly Father, I come before you with a humble heart, surrendering my will, plans, and desires to You. Help me to trust in Your perfect plan for my life, even when I do not understand. Grant me the strength to let go of control and to submit to Your will with faith and obedience.

About this Plan
Surrender is giving up control and giving in to God’s control. It’s not a passive move but an active release. When you stop trying to make things happen your way and trust God, circumstances will work out according to His plan. This 10-day plan gives examples of biblical greats who surrendered what they couldn’t control, released it, and trusted God in the face of many uncertainties.
