Celebrating Your BaptismSample

In today’s reading, we will see Jesus heal a man born blind. While the man can see, Jesus calls the Pharisees spiritually blind. We'll read Jesus saying that they don’t know what He is trying to do. The man born blind infuriated the Pharisees when he asked if they wanted to follow Jesus, too.
At the end of the chapter, Jesus says, “If you were blind, you wouldn’t be guilty. But you remain guilty because you claim you can see.” Now that you’re following Jesus, you’re no longer spiritually blind. But those who claim to be Christians but don’t allow God’s word to transform them are still spiritually blind.
What are you doing today to allow Jesus’ words to change your heart and mind? In verses 1-3, What did the disciples say when they saw the man born blind? What does that teach us about how we view suffering?
