Prayer, a Privilege!Sample

Prayer help
“In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words” (Romans 8:26-27 NASB).
Sometimes in a conversation you find yourself searching for the right words to say what you mean. How nice that at such times someone comes to your rescue and says the right word. Praying can also be a search for words. Because you are too tired, too sick to concentrate, because worries make you restless. What a relief that even then we are never alone.
Jesus also comes to our aid in our prayers through His Spirit. The Holy Spirit, who is present in every believer, knows when our words fall short or when we can no longer have the words ourselves. And you can feel so inadequate as a human that you begin to doubt whether you are praying in the right way. The Holy Spirit sees the desire of our hearts and takes over by praying with us. Someone who once felt too sick and exhausted to pray told God: "Please read from Your own work. And then words from the Psalms entered my mind." That's help from the Spirit.
Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, that Your Spirit is living in me, filling the gaps in my prayers and praying with me.
