1 & 2 Timothy Sample
It is hard to lead a church when Satan is against your every move. It doesn’t help matters when those you serve are quick to be critical. No one is perfect. We all have faults, deal with sin, and need heavy doses of forgiveness and grace. One of the greatest gifts you can give to your pastor and leaders in your church is your gratitude. Be thankful for their work and bless them with your prayers. Never forget we are in a battle. Make a point to consistently encourage and build up those who are building into you.
Dear Jesus,
Help me to be an encouragement to my pastor and the leaders in my church. Please protect them and bless them, Lord. Help them to know they are valued, loved, and so important to the amazing work You are doing. Amen.

About this Plan
After an encounter with Jesus, Paul was radically changed. This change led him to plant churches, go on missions, and write much of the New Testament. Two of the books he penned were letters written to a young man named Timothy. Paul wrote regarding church leadership and ministry perseverance that are powerful reminders to us today as we seek to stand firm with faith in an ungodly world.
