He Is Faithful by Vance K. JacksonSample
He Is Faithful.
”If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.“ 1 John 1:9 KJV
For He is faithful. He is just. He Is true. He Is faithful to forgive our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. For 1 John 1:9 AMPC declares, “If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].“
If we freely admit our sin—surrendering our hearts to Christ, He is faithful and just, true to His own nature and promises, to forgive our sins. For Romans 6:1-2 KJV declares, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?“
Shall we continue to sin, that God’s grace may abound? God forbid. “But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.“ 1 John 1:9 NLT. Freely submit your heart to Christ. Confess your sin before Him—for He is Faithful to forgive and just to set you free.
When you surrender to Christ—He will dismiss you from unrighteousness. Turn your heart to Christ, repent, and surrender your heart to Him.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “cleanse” is ‘katharizō’ (G2511), which means “to make clean.” Christ will make you clean. Christ will transform you from the inside out. He is faithful to restore you. He is faithful to cleanse you. For cleaning is a choice. You can allow your heart to grow bitter or you can be washed by His Word. You choose.
