Day 23: Introvert and/or Extrovert
Jesus was both introverted and extroverted. He was able to exist in the balance between. He went away to ‘recharge’ alone, to spend time with His Father in prayer and reflection. But He was also nourished by the energy of the crowds gathered around Him. He was able to be with the masses and be apart. He seemed to get energy from both and could divert to spend time in both states when needed. More than anything, He knew Himself and could set aside His needs when necessary and defend them at other times.
1) Which of these two parts of Jesus am I more comfortable with? Why?
2) What can I learn about Jesus and put into practice from accepting the part of Jesus that comes less naturally to me?
3) Write a short statement to remind yourself of these multi-faceted truths about Jesus.
a) Mark 6:31
b) Mark 1:34-35
c) Luke 5:12-16

About this Plan
This December, we want to celebrate who JESUS IS. He is much more than we can comprehend; He is so good and multi-faceted! This reading plan will serve as an opportunity to look deeper into the many aspects of Jesus this holiday season. This plan was created by Madeleine Weidemann.
