A Different WaySample

Have you ever thought about Eternity? Existence with no time limits – life that just continues forever with no end. We can’t really wrap our minds around Eternity as humans because everything we know in our world has a beginning and an end. At some point, our brains just give up trying to understand it.

Did you know that you are eternal? Your present physical self isn’t eternal of course – our bodies will all eventually grow old and die like every other living thing in our world. But you are more than just a body. You have a soul, and your soul is eternal. 100 million years after your physical body dies, you will still be alive. Your soul will continue living for all Eternity.

Jesus tells us that all of us have eternal life, and there are two ways we can experience this eternal life: with God or without God. Jesus came down to earth, lived a perfect life, and died the death that we deserved, all to give us each the chance to experience eternal life with God. The Bible tells us that all we have to do to inherit this eternal life is to believe and confess that Jesus is Lord. The best thing about this life with God is that it doesn’t start after our physical life comes to an end – it starts the very moment you choose to believe in Jesus. This means that, at this very moment, you can spend time with Jesus in the same way that your soul will for all Eternity. He invites you to do life with Him right now and for all Eternity.
