Did you know there are seven olive trees more than 2,000 years old still bearing fruit today in the Mediterranean? We, like David, can also stand strong, firm, and fruitful if our trust is in the right place. Trusting money won’t help, trusting our heritage won’t do it, even trusting our church or our leaders is insufficient. We all need to trust in God’s unfailing love!
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for planting me in your kingdom. I know I can flourish in your unfailing love. It is so promising and so amazing. Make my life count for you today in such a way that it will still be bearing fruit in 2000 years like those olive trees. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
