LIFE on HIS LIPS: SURVIVING by the WORDSample

Take time to breathe. The mind is running riots, and even if it is just for a moment, find a moment of silence, where nothing else matters but that sacred moment between you and God. As hard as you have been trying to survive, there is nothing wrong with stopping everything and asking for the help of the Lord. We were never meant to take on all of life's burdens on our own. In times of hurt, we try desperately to heal our own wounds, forgetting that the “Great Physician” is there to administer healing, wholeness, strength, and peace. In the quiet moment, ask Him to speak to you through the scripture. His promises never fail, and in a rocky storm, they will be your anchor.
About this Plan

When we have been knocked down by tragedy, it can be difficult to hear the voice of God amidst all of the noise of the mind. In this devotional, you will see that even when God seems silent, His word is still bringing strength, and you will learn how to survive your storm by His promises.
