The Power of God Revealed in SetbacksSample

In 2013, I can remember applying for my program of study to become a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer. Once all the required documents were received, I had to take an AccuPlacer exam before I was accepted into the program. So I scheduled my exam and I went home and I studied to the best of my ability. Ready or not it was time for me to take my exam; I passed everything but the math so I had to retake the math. Before leaving the campus I took some math material to help me as I prepared to retake the exam. I felt a little uneasy, but it was time to retake the exam. Unfortunately, I did not pass and this time admin told me that I only had one more chance to take the exam and maybe I should consider another program. With tears in my eyes I was determined to give it another try. On my way home I cried some more and I can remember asking God why it was so hard for me to pass the exam. During my drive home the Holy Spirit spoke to me and I heard search math Accuplacer on YouTube when you get home and I did just that. When I got home I searched math Accuplacer and there was a male professor explaining basic fractions and that’s exactly what I needed help with. After practicing for weeks I was confident and I had a better understanding how to solve basic fraction problems. About 1 week later I scheduled to retake this exam for the last time. After arriving and checking in I prayed and I gave it my all. Every time I took my exam there was a lady who saw my results before me and this time she said: “Ms. Graham you must’ve studied” and I said yes ma’am. Shortly admin came up and he saw my results and he said: “Ms. Graham you blew this test out the water, let’s go get everything finalized for your program application. Before leaving the campus he asked me did the school material help me pass the exam. I replied no sir there’s a man on YouTube that solves basic fraction problems and that helped me pass the exam. I was determined to share the information with him so that others could be blessed if they needed additional help. As I was completing my program of study admin informed me that many used that video to help them get accepted into their program of study.
