Weapons of Mass Destruction

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT) 

Living a life dedicated to the mission the Lord has given us is the only place we will find the strength to live as a sacrifice of service to God. This is not a mission with rainbows and butterflies, this is a mission of force to help people suffering on this earth, to bring hope to the hopeless, to love the unlovely, and oh yeah, there’s a highly trained enemy waiting to use your flesh to strategically put you on the sidelines, or ideally in the grave. 

There is a daily battle for your soul (mind, will and emotions) and it is imperative we learn how to live in victory with this battle. Jesus came to this earth, lived a perfect life, died a horrible death on a cross, and rose from the grave so He could give us spiritual life. He gave us the best gift we could ask for, the Holy Spirit. In the Holy Spirit we are born again, and it’s the only place we have life, and everywhere else is death. 

In Him we have every weapon needed to live in victory over the schemes of darkness on this earth. But the Holy Spirit gives us the choice to either use His weapons of warfare or our own. Over the next few days we will take some time and look at the main weapons used in the battle to sanctify our mind, will, and emotions on this earth.
