Resurrection!Sample

When we were reading Matthew 28 we noted how Matthew points out it was the day after the Sabbath, the first day of the week, that Jesus rose. John also explicitly highlights the fact it was the first day of the week twice. In verse 1 at the very beginning of the chapter, and verse 19. John is highlighting that this new week when Jesus rose is a picture of the new creation bursting into the world.
