Love Always: 5 Days to Strengthen Your MarriageSample

Treasure Your Spouse
Do you place your relationship with your spouse higher than all other relationships apart from with God? Do you give him or her higher importance than all comforts and frills of this world? Marriage is a special gift from God, and it’s important that we treat it like the valuable blessing that it is. Your spouse is God’s beloved child whom he entrusted to you. Do you delight in your spouse? Do you listen to them, learn from them, strive for the best for them, and keep them on the top of your priority list?
True to God’s nature to reward obedience, we will quickly realize that when we delight in our spouse, we will find them more exciting and satisfying than all the luxuries of this world. Truly treasure the partner God has blessed you with.
Heavenly Father, you have filled this earth with wonderful things, but greater than all the sunsets, cuisines, friendships, and luxuries is the enjoyment you give us through each other. We are so grateful. May we always take care of and treasure one another.

About this Plan

The first days or weeks of marriage might feel easy; loving your spouse is as natural as breathing. But if you’ve been married for longer than a month, you’ve likely run into times when choosing love requires effort—sometimes a lot of effort. Commit your marriage to God. Spend time in his presence together.
