Walking Free: Taking Small Steps to a Big God by Micah TylerSample
During my time as a youth pastor and then singing and speaking to people worldwide as a Christian artist over the past few years, I firmly believe in taking the time to process and apply the biblical truths we learn. Whether alone or in a small group, discovering how we can take in God’s Word, and allowing Him to transform our minds and hearts, is just as important as the time we take to read Scripture for ourselves and listen to teaching.
For this final day in our study, I want to give you the opportunity to look back over the past six days, the Scriptures, the teaching, and your answers to the questions at the end of each day. Take the time to pray and carefully sift through the past six days to take hold of anything God may have shown you. Write your answers in a journal or the notes on your phone. Then, lastly, take a look at what you have written and submit it to God for Him to show you His purpose for your investment in this Walking Free study.
1. Was there a Scripture you read that jumped out at you and made a unique impression? Do your best to describe your thoughts and feelings as to why it impacted you.
2. Was there a particular truth in the teaching that spoke to your heart and resonated with a circumstance in your life? Do your best to process what God could be saying to provide an answer for you.
3. Was there a call to obedience that God revealed to you in one of the days, a step you know in your heart He is asking you to take? Do your best to write out any and all thoughts regarding what you received and how you can walk that out in faith.
4. What is the one key step you know you need to take to walk in a deeper place of freedom in Christ?
About this Plan
Walking the road of life in a relationship with Jesus, freedom may be found each day by discovering His purpose and plan and following in His footsteps. In this 7-day plan, Christian artist, songwriter, and author Micah Tyler hopes to encourage and equip the body of Christ in the truth that all our steps on the narrow path can, ultimately, lead somewhere amazing.
