DAY 7 OF 366

His Report is In!

Did you just hear that you don’t qualify for your dream job? Has the doctor just told you that you have cancer? Did the share market just plummet? We have all received bad news at some point or the other—the kind that causes our hearts to sink. Well, guess what! When we trust in God and set our hearts on Him, we don’t have to fear bad news. In fact, it has no effect on us!

Yes, sometimes there are disappointments and discouragements thrown our way, but they can never move us. We can remain still and know that He is God.
Bad news does not determine our future! The only thing that really matters is what God has to say. All we have to do is stand firm, hoping in God. The best part is that this kind of hope does not disappoint (Romans 5:5).

Find out, today, what is God’s report about you! Does He declare you disqualified? No, He says you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). Does He declare you sick? No, He says that by the stripes of Jesus you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Does He declare that you are poor? No way! He says He shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

You will not fail! He has written your report card and it has a big A+. So, don’t let your heart be troubled; quit worrying or pitying yourself and get up. Stay steadfast, trusting in God till you see that A+ come into reality in your life!

Declaration
I will trust in the Lord at all times. I will never be shaken by bad news, because I choose to believe God’s report about me.

About this Plan

Precious Moments That Count For Eternity

It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
