Precious Moments That Count For Eternity

DAY 210 OF 366

God Knows Best

Often we go through trying times in our lives, where we have no solution to questions and problems that trouble us. It’s then that we turn to God, in prayer, for a solution. But do we really follow through and obey what God tells us to do? Sometimes, even after hearing from God, we do what we think is right. Our natural minds take us through the rational way of doing things. But as Christians, we are made for the supernatural! God knows exactly what’s good for us and will tell us to do just that!
The rich young man came to Jesus seeking eternal life. He boldly proclaimed that he had kept all the commandments since his childhood. But such self-righteous acts are of no use if we don’t follow God and obey Him completely. Jesus knew where his heart was, and touched him right at that spot, asking him to part with his wealth. Jesus wanted to be the only treasure this young man had. Sadly, his heart lay with his riches.
Beloved, when we go to God with questions and problems, be assured that He has the best answer. It may be difficult to obey Him and you may not always understand His ways. But our God has created us. He knows our beginning and our end. Better still, He loves being the center of our lives. And why not; since He also put us at the center of His plans and sacrificed His only Son to help us be reconciled with Him.
Remember, God may not always give you the answer you’re looking for. But He gives you the best answer for every situation in your life. He’s a good Father and He will take you through!

Prayer
Dear Daddy, be the center of my life. Help me to surrender completely to You and trust You always. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

About this Plan

Precious Moments That Count For Eternity

It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
