You’re invited to believe for the better.

You are allowed to believe in a better life today. I know that sounds crazy, but we often limit our hope for a brighter future because our past experiences or inner voices that squash our faith tell us that this is the best we will get.

We often feel guilty for wanting better for our life because the enemy quickly tells us we do not deserve anything better. Or maybe your limited hope comes from a place of wanting to please other people.

No matter what obstacle you face for being full of faith, the Bible is clear that Jesus has conquered sin and beat death. Because of his victory, he has opened heaven’s gates so we may experience the fullness of his presence here on earth.

We are allowed to hope for the best things for ourselves and others because God wants us to experience the best. What if, instead of allowing our flesh to tell us what we do not deserve, we started allowing the Spirit to tell us what we deserve because of Jesus?

Take time today to write down what you want that is better for your life, do not limit your hopes and dreams but acknowledge that all things are possible through God. Give these to God and praise him for His defeat over death and sin.
