Have you ever been typing and wished you knew faster ways to complete certain tasks? Take creating a new document for example, or copying and pasting a sentence. If you have been there before, you’re in luck! There are faster ways to complete those tasks! Throughout this series, we are going to show you a few of those shortcuts, but we are also going to dive deep into how the Bible provides spiritual shortcuts for your life.
Commit to trusting God with everything you do this week, and He will help you. Trust in His gift of grace. Trust in His unending love. Trust in the strength He gives you. If you thought you knew how to go about life, but maybe you were striving instead of thriving, the Word of God can become your guide.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you” (Psalms 32:8 NIV).
Life does not have to be more complicated than it already is, so turn your long days over and give your attention to the One who wants to instruct you.
Here is the code for how this devotional works: each day, we will teach you a computer shortcut and a spiritual principle connected to it. We have created a plan where you get to learn how to efficiently manage a computer file but also begin understanding how to apply shortcuts from God’s Word to your life. As you read His Word this week, you will see how shortcuts with faith-filled implementation can get you through your hardest days. So get ready, because you are about to gain some great tools for completing everyday tasks with far less stress and way more success. It is time to thrive instead of strive.
