You’re not alone

“Even when I’m at my worst, you’re with me.”

The presence of God isn’t limited to a place or a time. He’s always with you. There’s nothing you can do to undo His love for you. His mercies are new every morning. At times, we don’t feel worthy to approach God, yet He tells us to come to Him, boldly approaching the throne of grace. He also invites us to come to Him so that He can give us rest. Exchange your worries for His peace, sadness for His joy, and voids for His fullness.

“Very few things are promised in this life, but now I can see all my days with you.” I love this lyric in the song RDV because it reminds us that in the midst of life’s uncertainties, we can look to a future with the assurance that God is there, fighting your battles and making a way before you.

Other than God’s presence, He has given us the gift of belonging to a family of faith. We are part of a body. Together we are better and we reflect the Kingdom of God in a multidimensional way.

You can’t achieve all that God has called you to be in isolation. You need a circle of people who keep you accountable and encourage and support you. In the same way, cutting relationships that hold you back, while very difficult, is one of the keys to advancing in your purpose.

In conclusion, when you cultivate friendships that encourage you onward, you can trust that in the moments you feel alone, just by looking up and around, you will see God’s love surrounding you and the people He wants to use to walk with you through the fire and keep you lifted.

Prayer: Father, today I come boldly into your presence with a sincere and grateful heart. Thank you for your faithful love. You’re a friend at all times. Thank you because I am not alone. I belong to a family of faith. I’m a part of something greater. My life has purpose. I contribute to this body and am here to do Your will on Earth. My life is yours. Amen.
