Just listen to your gut feeling... NOT!
First read the scriptures in James 1:5 and Proverbs 4:26.
How do I actually make a good decision?
We live in a world with so many options. We are spoiled for choice at every turn, with every decision we make. For example, what do I wear today, where should I apply, and which person should I date? Many people make decisions because they just feel like it, because friends are doing the same thing, or because it's recommended on Instagram. However, there is an alternative: we have a God who does not leave us alone when we make decisions. Instead, He helps us (James 1:5) to make a good decision. The important thing is to keep the focus on Jesus and not on the hustle and bustle around us. God has promised that if we ask Him, He will give us wisdom and not leave us behind like a small child.
Do you often make decisions and regret them the next day?
How often do you decide on a job, an education, or a certain project and start to doubt the decision as soon as difficulties arise? Here too, we find wise advice in the Bible: "Think (carefully) about what you want to do, and then do it decisively!"
Make your plans together with God and then don't let difficulties or obstacles stop you.
Next Step:
What are your desires, ideas, and thoughts for your future? Write them down on a piece of paper and note the pros and cons. What is really important, what is less important, and what is not at all important? Discuss it with God and with other people.
