How To Hear God's VoiceSample

Whenever there is an unsettling feeling about what an internal voice is saying then it is not the voice of God. God will not give you doubt or tension because when He is leading you He will use His peace as a way to confirm His perfect will. When your circumstances line up in a supernatural way, then that is a sign that the Lord is speaking to you and moving on your behalf. It is also important to note that if you sense spiritual warfare in a matter that you believe God spoke to you about, then that is a good indication you are walking in God's will. Your spirit will bear witness with God's spirit.

What Do Your Mentors Say?

It is very important to have a trusted spiritual mentor in your life to help you discern what is from God and what isn't. Even then you must test what they say with God's Word and if it is confirmed, they can be used as prophetic voices in your life to declare something God has already communicated to you. We must be reliable as Christian brothers and sisters to help others discern God's voice. We need each other to lean on. It is impossible to do life alone and try to be successful. Confirmation and support are important. However, you may be in a situation where God's guidance will be present and your inner witness and circumstances will be confirmed with each other, but you won't find support from people around you. This can happen, but you must keep praying for deeper conviction in your spirit and not waiver in what you know God has said.

Today's Challenge

Pray to grow more in God and develop your relationships with your pastors and people you know who hear from the Lord. Ask them to speak about your situation and this will allow you to walk under a covering of wisdom. If you have a blind spot, they may be able to catch it and guide you appropriately.
