Walk Through The Bible 365 - OctoberSample
Integrity In Money
It is sad that today we hear of cases where Christian leaders have been caught in using their leadership to amass wealth for themselves in illegal ways. And unfortunately, this is true of both leaders and just believers belonging to His Kingdom. How will Jesus respond to this? Will Jesus, like he did before in the temple in Jerusalem, throw out the money lenders and the traders in the temple and ask as to why they have made the temple a den of thieves?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, let us live lives of integrity in all financial matters - whether we are in leadership positions or even otherwise. Let us not have you accuse us and ask if we are making your Kingdom and your church a den of thieves. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
