Day 2: Without You
As our world grows to be more complicated, the need to have God in our lives grows stronger. As I mentioned earlier, I spend most of my days on social media. I remember seeing a tweet on Twitter, that spoke about how we take the fact that we’ve woken up each day for granted. When writing the song ‘Without You’ from the EP, I reflected on the tweet. I wrote this line that says:
Living and breathing it’s all down to you
If you would leave me, I don’t know what I would do
I’m grateful that God is with me and that he’s by my side every day. You can only cherish what you have when you know the value. Those who say they can live without God don’t know the value of having a friend, a father, a protector, a provider and so much more on your side. Having God on our side doesn’t mean that we won’t face trials or encounter problems in our day-to-day lives. It simply means that because he’s with us, he’ll help us through. God can help us through by giving us direction, connecting us with destiny helpers, comforting us, and giving us ideas (Isaiah 41:10; Psalm 46:1-3).
The pandemic made me value my faith so much more. I grew stronger in my relationship with God because I knew I could count on him to rescue me from anything I was facing. During the pandemic a lot of us struggled with our mental health, myself included. During those difficult days, having a loving father by my side got me out of bed every morning. Feeling his presence and experiencing his peace with the assurance that I would come out of that season was all I needed. I don’t think a lot of us could have survived the pandemic without God. The Bible describes his presence as a shelter and a safe place that we can run into (Psalm 32:7). If you’re reading this and can relate to the struggle of mental health or anything you’ve dealt with during the pandemic, remember that God has already brought you through.
Task:
In your journal or notebook, write down reasons why you can't live without God.
Pray:
Loving father, thank you for constantly being with me. I’m grateful that in the good times and in the bad times, you stand with me. Help me to continue seeking you even when I don’t feel like I want to. I pray that your presence will cover me like a shield,
In Jesus’ name, amen.

About this Plan
This plan seeks to unwrap what it truly means to submit to God and what that looks like for us as his children. The bible plan is inspired by Gospel singer, Uchenna’s new EP titled The Art Of Submission. The plan speaks on themes such as faith, trust, and God's love and how each of these plays a part in how we submit to his will for us.
