We have to follow God’s lead.

If we do this, we’ll never fall off course. He will never steer you towards certain failure. Seek God for instructions, and allow Him to lead your next steps.

This submissive situation requires us to let go of the controls. It’s hard, even though we know that God is taking over. Knowing the will of God and knowing how we should approach our future is one of the biggest concerns that we have as people.

An innocent mistake made by an architect can render a building to be unsafe, insecure, and uninhabitable. We have to let Him take over. He doesn’t make mistakes, and if we stay faithful and consistent with Him, we can ensure success for generations. We have to be cautious.

I don’t say this to instill fear or to sound negative. We still have to live our lives, but we must pursue God daily. We must take opportunities with caution to ensure that God sets these opportunities in our path and not the enemy. We take the steps, not of the perfect but of the righteous. If God orders your blueprints, then even if you fall, He will be there to lift you back up. To follow His plan is to make sure that you are in His palm. The hand of God supports us throughout our journey and allows us to take steps in the direction that He has told us to go!

Below I have listed four ways to help you understand God’s will so that it may guide you through difficult decisions:

1. Looking to the scripture for answers.

2. Using objective counsel to tell you what you need to hear.

3. Leaning on the peaceful control of Jesus Christ.

4. Coming to know His heart to understand His will.

God knows you. God loves you. God has a plan for your life, and God will empower you to fulfill His plan for you.

Will you search your heart?

Will you commit your heart to the Lord?

Will you spend time growing your character so that you can become all God desires?

God chose you just as He chose David.

Now, let’s bring Him glory through how we mature on the inside!
