Mary: The Expecting MommaSample

For Mary, motherhood was a spiritual experience and a divine calling. Her song reveals her gratitude for the gift of motherhood. Many women across the globe also believe pregnancy is a spiritual experience. Also, several studies show that pregnancy, childbirth, or motherhood does not only create physical and psychological changes; it causes spiritual changes.
Consider these powerful scriptures:
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Psalm 139:13-14 (KJV)
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3 (KJV)
When fear comes knocking, remember Psalm 139:13 and declare that your child is covered in your womb. When you feel anxious, remember God created your child and your child is precious to God. Also, remember that your child is a gift from God and God equips you with the ability to raise your child.
