Can you remember any dreams you’ve had? In Bible times, God sometimes used dreams to tell people what to do.

Mary was engaged to be married to a man called Joseph. It had been arranged before the angel Gabriel told her about her baby. Joseph was very confused because he knew he wasn’t the father of the baby.

Joseph was a man who always tried to do what was right. But sometimes it is not easy to know what is the right thing to do.

God helped Joseph to make up his mind by sending an angel with a message!

How did the angel speak to Joseph?

What did the angel tell Joseph to do?

Joseph obeyed the angel and he and Mary were soon married.

God’s promised baby would soon arrive!

Pray: “Father God, when things are difficult, help me to know what is the right thing to do. Thank you, God, that you showed Joseph the right things to do.”
