Good AdviceSample
Want some really good advice?
Some things are always a bad idea. Bathing with a toaster, taking a cat on a walk, taking middle school boys to an opera, and cashing in on your faith or marriage for something fleeting. Some things are always a good idea. To finish up this Bible Plan, here are 10 bits of good advice that will never expire.
- Love God with everything you’ve got.
- Love others and yourself as Christ loves you.
- Get less than you want.
- Give away more than you think you should.
- Be blatantly kind.
- Get to know the voice of the Holy Spirit.
- Become less important.
- Make Jesus more important.
- Thank God always.
- Tell people why you live like this.
Do this: Stop and write down one bit of bad advice you’re going to cross out of your life. Then write some good advice you’ll replace it with. Now ask the Holy Spirit for help, tell someone else about it, and start doing it!
