An available hiding place

In the arms of Jesus we can find rest and divine strength to keep going. He is available and ready to hug you and give you rest in the middle of your battles.

Jesus is our safe help in moments of anguish and looks after us in every moment. He is a safe hiding place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I love knowing that God doesn't have reduced business hours or an answering machine in case He's not available. We don't need to queue up in line or book an appointment to get close to Him. He is a refuge we can go to all the time.

Jeremiah 23:23-24 says

“Am I only a God nearby,"

declares the Lord,

"and not a God far away?

Who can hide in secret places

so that I cannot see them?”

declares the Lord,

“Do not I fill heaven and earth?”

declares the Lord.

We have access to a God that's constantly waiting for us to look to Him to give us the strength we need.

Psalms 145:18 "the Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."

God is Emmanuel, which means "God with us." How comforting it is to know that God is an available and accessible hiding place! He is always with you and He hasn't forgotten about you. He hears your cry for help. He is God of the universe, creator of the heavens and the earth, and is available to each and everyone of us.

Cry out and look for Him in the middle of your pain because He is a safe hiding place!

Prayer: Jesus, I give You thanks because You are always close, because You are an available and accessible God in whom we can trust. Give me strength to move forward and certainty that You are with me in the middle of my battles. Amen.
