Guided Prayer  

1. Praise the Lord (5 Minutes)  
   1. Praise him for being the ultimate giver. 
   2. Praise him for how he has specifically provided for you. 
2. Ask the Lord (5 Minutes) - 2 Corinthians 9:7  
   1. Ask the Lord to reveal to you the ways he wants you to give and be generous. 
   2. If finances are really tight, ask the Lord to provide for you and to show you the ways you can give of your time. 
   3. Ask the Lord to give you a spirit of generosity. Ask him to transform your heart into that of a cheerful giver.  
   4. Ask the Lord to give you the diligence to continue giving even when you do not delight in it.  
3. Thank the Lord (5 Minutes) - Psalm 37:4 
   1.  Thank the Lord for being faithful and for knowing the desires of your heart.

1. Talk to a Christian friend about how you think the Lord has prompted you. Ask them to keep you accountable. 
2. Pray for a continued desire to reflect the giving heart of God.
