You Are Part Of A Family

Family is God’s design for the foundation of society. ‘A Christian is one who has been adopted by God – brought into the family of God, all by the Son of God. And this changes everything,’ said D.A. Carson. 

Jesus was the greatest expression of love of all time. God sent His Son for us, fully human and fully God, to make a way for us to stand in His presence, to become a part of God’s family. A mix of people with different personalities, different backgrounds, different ideas sometimes – except for the one thing that we have in common: we love Jesus. People who we might never have associated with before, or people who we never would have thought we would befriend, suddenly become our brothers and sisters. 

Through Christ, God has made us a family, a community of faith. This is our God-given support system. We are God’s arms, legs… His heart on this earth. From hugs and kind words of comfort, to warm smiles and feeding hungry bellies, we operate by the love of God, to spread His love to all His people.

If you are lonely or in need of a family today, reach out to God and ask Him to meet that need and show you where you belong. He says, ‘To the lonely, he makes them part of a family.’ There is a place for you, a community to experience the love and transforming power of Jesus today.
