Love Makes us Better

Love makes the other person better. Love is the greatest force on earth. I have seen love transform the lives of individuals like nothing else. Love motivates like nothing else. It causes us to grow in meaningful ways and we see in Ephesians 2:4-6 how the love of God lifts us up to become more than what we could be on our own and I do believe that we could do the same for each other in our relationships.

Ephesians 2:4-6 says "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,  even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus."

You can see how His love makes us better. There is a whole list there. I believe that as we receive His love, the love of God, it will empower us to make each other better.

My love for you is rich in mercy. Mercy means that I want to contribute to your growth in life. I want to see you flourish, just as the love of God wants to see me flourish. My love for you wants to see you flourish.

My love for you also makes you come alive. His love also brings life to our inner being, and my love for you will ignite deep desires and dreams within us and will become an encouragement to you, to go for those dreams.

My love will raise you up. My affirmations will build you up to reach your full potential. I believe that my words have incredible creative power, and that life and death is in the power of the tongue and that why I choose to use my words as a force of life, of encouragement, of potential and I believe you can do it!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you that you make us more than we could ever become on our own. We pray that we will now become an instrument in your hands to see your dreams fulfilled in each others' lives. May your name be glorified in our marriage. Amen
