Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith Sample

Life seems to be getting more difficult rather than easier. The storms we are facing since 2020 alone will fill history books for decades to come! But even though we may feel overwhelmed and weary, here are two things that we can hold on to when life becomes tough. First, there is a future hope that we can look ahead to - eternity with Him. Second, our King is returning for us very soon. He may even now be weaning us away from our affection for earthly pleasures and treasures. He may be reminding us that there is more to life than all that we “see”. He may be filling our hearts with a deeper desire for things that this world cannot satisfy. So let us be glad that we have a hope and future. Let us persevere or “hold fast” to Him alone. Let us cling to the cross because that is the ultimate symbol of suffering that led to a wonderful future. So let us not lose heart as we run this race marked out for us, but rather, let us spur each other on to reach the finish line and receive the crown of life that is waiting for us!
