The Discovery: Exploring God’s Call On Your Life Sample
According to Luke 19:10, Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He became the sacrifice for sin so that man could be reconciled to God. Seems like He’s got everything covered, so what’s left for us to do?
As followers of Jesus, we are His ambassadors. An ambassador has two jobs, 1) to communicate effectively for the person he/she represents and 2) to embody the ideals and principles of the person he/she represents. Ambassadors are sent with all the authority of the person they represent, making the position of ambassador one of high honor and responsibility.
This is the ministry of every believer, an assignment given at salvation (2 Corinthians 4:1). Although the daily tasks we carry out may differ, we are all ambassadors, sent to point others to Jesus Christ and the reconciliation that He made possible.
