Unwrapping the Gifts From GodSample
What’s your biggest challenge?
I’ve had the privilege of traveling around the world to teach and train leaders. The journey has been difficult, dangerous and way beyond my abilities. I’ve felt insecure, overwhelmed, out of cash and outnumbered by the opposition, but somehow, in some way, God always shows up to help me make a difference.
Do you ever feel overwhelmed and unable to overcome the challenges of life? There is this crazy promise I know will help you snatch victory from the jaws of defeat: “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.” (2 Peter 1:3, NIV)
You have been given everything you need to walk in victory. His power and love have prepared every tool, gift and grace you need to overcome challenges, start a company, go back to school, parent your children or help someone find peace and freedom.
I have twelve amazing grandchildren. They are all different and hilarious and complicated and messy and perfect. I love them. I rarely expect them to coach me, help me or write an earth-shattering essay on the pandemic. They are kids, and they act like kids. But when it comes to technology, they are the masters, and I’m the student. They’ve locked me out of my phone, changed the screen picture, downloaded games and taken a hundred or so pictures of their faces...at the age of seven. It truly is hilarious, but they’ve also taught me I have access to many apps and resources. All these tools are at my fingertips, but I was unable to use them.
God has prepared every gift you need to live an abundant life. It’s time to access them on a daily basis. The Bible has this incredible promise to help you seize these gifts: “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14, NKJV)
I’m praying God will help you download every gift and His favor to help you expand the fragrance of heaven on earth. I’m praying you will gain confidence in His full provision for you.
Because you’re a miracle.

About this Plan
Most of my family and friends love to receive gifts. Christmas, Easter, birthdays and anniversaries are excuses for my wife and me to give gifts, hugs and words of affirmation. I believe we were designed by God to give and receive gifts. It’s normal and divine. In this reading plan, writer Paul Marc Goulet shares about this topic and what gifts God give us.
