Love Remains Holy WeekSample
Celebration. Hope. Expectation. Peace. Certainty—these are all likely emotions felt by those throwing their palm branches on the dirt road and shouting with excitement and joy. And they were right in their exuberance of Jesus. In the midst of Roman oppression his arrival brought celebration and certainty of a different future.
This Palm Sunday likely feels a little different as you gather around computer screens and enjoy the company of others virtually. Perhaps this year’s celebration feels threatened by fear or clouded by uncertainty. And that’s ok. Palm Sunday reminds us that even in the midst of disruption, in the midst of all you may be feeling, Jesus is still King. He still carries hope; he still carries peace; and he still loves us more than we dared imagine. May you find rest in that today and this week!
Read Luke 19:37-39 again, and ask what is God saying to you?

About this Plan
It’s hard to imagine what Jesus was thinking and feeling in the days leading to cross, but one thing we do know—his trust and assurance in the goodness and faithful love of God. Take a journey this Holy Week through the gospels, walk with Jesus, ask God a simple question, and encounter the vast love of God.
