Bold Faith - Part 2 - SE StudentsSample
Let’s look at two men who lived and walked with Jesus. It might seem really easy for those who literally looked Jesus in the face to have Bold Faith. But even the disciples had doubts. After Jesus ascended into heaven and the first church was started, Peter and John took bold action with their faith, preaching in the streets about the Messiah. This was not only bold, it was dangerous! They risked imprisonment or death just for telling the true story of Jesus.
You might think they were special because they were disciples. While it was certainly a privilege to walk alongside Jesus, these men were just men, and that is what makes them significant. Look at Acts 4:13. Ordinary men were doing extraordinary things. They could not do anything on their own, but because of their bold faith in Christ Jesus, they were able to take action, perform miracles, explain the Gospel story to the people, and see thousands of people convert to Christianity!
You do not have to have any special degree, an abundance of theological knowledge, or have memorized the entire Bible in order to share the story of Jesus. You just have to have bold faith and a willingness to try. God will not abandon you no matter your circumstances.
