Rekindling Romance in Your MarriageSample
The weekly RD!
1 Corinthiens 7:4 “The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and then husband gives authority over his body to his wife.”
Have you started to plan your Romantic Dates? When at our church in Colorado last year, a couple very kindly took the time to come and thank us for the couples group that we lead over 6 years back. Both of them told us that they regularly used the advice we gave them at the beginning of their marriage. As usual, Eric immediately asked them if they also took the time for their RD every week: "Once a month, on average..."
Once a week! That's what we encourage you to put into place, once a week... not once a month!
So, let me continue to give you conversation ideas for these special romantic moments together:
- What is happening in your heart right now?
- Do you get scared?
- How can I help you when you are afraid?
- Do you ever get discouraged?
- How can I assure you of my unconditional love for you?
- Which countries would you like to visit?
- What are the places you’ve visited that you liked the most?
- What are the silly moments when you laughed the most of yourself?
- Who are the people who counted most in your life?
- What's your favorite meal?
- What does a perfect day look like for you?
- Which comedian makes you laugh the most?
- Do you have hidden talents?
- In what atmosphere do you relax most easily?
- If you found a suitcase with a million dollars, what would you do with it?
- What is the worst advice anyone has ever given you?
- What is the least important thing to you in life?
- What would you do if you knew how many years you have left to live?
- Where do you see us in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years?
- How did you imagine your adult life when you were a child?
- What dreams do you want to see come to pass?
Talk about your relationship, about him or her, talk about the past, the present, the future, dream together, laugh together, do not let these moments that are the glue of your life together ever be stolen!
