Do Not Delay Doing Good

Proverbs 3:27

Whenever you are able, do good to people who need help.

God cares and is very interested in every aspect of your life including how you treat the people around you. Our God is a good God and obviously He wants you to be good to others. It might sound easy, but it is not always easy to practice in our daily life, especially when dealing with someone who is not-so-nice to us.

God reminds His people to help those who need help within their ability. God does not expect you to do more than you can. But He certainly expects you not to do less than you can. 

Helping others who are in need is not only a way to spread blessings, kindness and love. It is also one way how others witness and see God’s love in you. If the people you help are not yet God’s believers, they might be drawn to open their hearts for Jesus because of your kindness.

Do not delay doing good to others as those moments might be the opportunity for you to be impactful on their lives.

Prayer

Dear God, I want to do what I can do to help others so that I can give impactful blessings, love and kindness on their lives. Amen.
