A lot of us are afraid to pray because we never know how to do it, what to say, afraid we will do it wrong, or just feel silly sitting there. This is why God gave us His Word. Jesus Himself told us how we should pray and modeled it for us. There are 5 prayer principles that Jesus talks about when it comes to prayer from Matthew 6:9-15. Here is the 3rd one:

Give Us Today Our Daily Bread

The Bible states not to worry about the next day, today will take care of its own. We are to live day to day because we don't know how much time we have here on earth. We need God to guide us in so many ways, every day. By asking God to give us our daily bread, we are asking God to provide for us what we need, today.
