Bronco and Friends: A 5-Day Devotional by Tim Tebow Sample
Day Five: God’s Handiwork
Scripture: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” (Ephesians 2:10)
“Each creature is born unique.
Our differences make us special.
And someone special, like you, is
always able to do great things.”
Devotion
Think for a minute about your best friend, or your mom or dad, or your brother or sister. Do you have the same color hair? The same laugh? Do you like to play with the same things or read the same books?
God made us all different from one another. But do you remember the one thing we all have in common? We were all made in God’s image! You and your parents and your neighbor and the person sitting next to you at school all reflect God.
When we think about this, it reminds us to be kind to each other, to encourage one another, and to enjoy how God can use each of our gifts and abilities—and even our weaknesses. The party wouldn’t be complete without you. Now that’s worth celebrating!
Question
Why do you think God made us different from one another?
Prayer
Dear God, thank you for making me so unique that the world wouldn’t be complete without me. Help me see how you want me to do good works. I love you! Amen.
Activity
Create something this week! Paint a picture. Make a chalk drawing on the sidewalk. Write a poem. Make up a new dance! God loves to create and He made you a creator too. What you create will be different from anyone else’s creation—just like you are different from anyone else in the world!
