Love God Greatly: EcclesiastesSample
SOAP – Ecclesiastes 6:1-2; Solomon complains about the unfairness of those who are given much by God but never get to enjoy it. In his despair, he states that it is better for one to never have been born rather than experience the disappointment of loss. Solomon has lost his spiritual perspective. His focus is only on what is gained and enjoyed during this earthly life.
When believers put their hope and stability in wealth, achievement, and popularity instead of God, we are standing on shaky ground. Economies can collapse. Wealth can be lost. Possessions can be damaged and destroyed. However, a believer’s identity, foundation, and stability is found in the person of Jesus Christ who never changes, who is always present, and who will be with us into eternity.

About this Plan
In this eight-week Love God Greatly study on the book of Ecclesiastes, our questions regarding the meaning of life will lead us to Solomon’s wise conclusion: that in order for one to find meaning, purpose, and satisfaction in life, he or she must know God. Please note: The study is designed to break on the weekends. You will have two days each week without content. For further encouragement, join us at LoveGodGreatly.com
