Go Tell It on the Mountain Three-Day Reading Plan by Zach WilliamsSample
Day 2:
Down in a lowly manger
My humble Christ was born
God sent us salvation, on that blessed Christmas morn’
What’s amazing about Christmas is that as believers, we get to set time aside to celebrate something that we experience every single day. We experience the miracle of Jesus’ presence and existence every day, but how often do we stop to celebrate that? How often do we sing songs celebrating Jesus’ birth when it’s not Christmas time?
I love simply looking around or turning on the radio and being reminded of the truth of our salvation. One of my goals for the new year is to bring that celebratory spirit with me into the mundane, into my worship, into each concert, and into my interactions with family and friends. Why does December get all of the celebration? Let’s bring it with us into the new year and beyond!
Jesus was born into pretty lackluster and lowly circumstances, and yet there was the Ultimate Celebration of His birth amongst the animals and hay. If celebration can exist in that moment, it can exist in all of the mundane moments of our lives.
My prayer is that in the extraordinary moments and, well, in the ordinary ones, there is celebration.

About this Plan
Christmas is coming. Join me as I prepare for this special holiday and reflect on the meaning of Christmas, what it really means to ‘go tell it on the mountain,’ how actions and words can work together, and how we can celebrate Jesus’ birth long after Christmas has come and gone. -Zach Williams
