The Greatest News (Week 2)Sample
Day Four
The Birth of Jesus - the greatest gift God has given humanity, besides salvation, is His only son! Welcome to our Christmas Devotional. As you journey together through the wonder of God’s amazing plan and provision, we pray that you have fun, whilst discovering more about God’s heart for everyone. We pray that every truth you learn through this plan will be remembered and carried with you through life, as you journey with and always follow Jesus.
READ:
‘An Angel Visits’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 266-270) or in Luke 1:26-38
Mary was confused when the angel told her she was going to have a baby, because she wasn’t married yet.
She had some questions for Gabriel.
Remember that it’s always okay to ask questions - actually God loves when we ask Him questions! When we pray we can ask Him anything, and we can also ask our grown ups for help too if we don’t understand something.
ASK:
Do you have any questions today? Ask God your questions and see what He says!
REMEMBER:
But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere! (Luke 2:10 TPT)
SAY:
Thank you God that you sent your Son,
Help us to remember whilst we have fun.
Give us the courage to share the Greatest news,
With Everyone, Everywhere, that all may hear,
As we shout it from the rooftops, loud and clear!
Amen!
