Jesus is painting an excellent picture for us in these verses.  A tiny sparrow is such an afterthought by human standards that you could buy five for two pennies. Yet, Jesus tells us that God has not forgotten them.  Jesus tells us that the very hairs on our head are numbered by God. Our significance and worth are found in Him. He created us and knows us even better than we know ourselves.  There is not a situation that we find ourselves in that God does not already know about. We cannot catch God by surprise.  He knows our thoughts, our strengths and our weaknesses.  God knows the trials we will face in life even before we face them.  

Jesus tells us not to worry because God loves us and cares for us. Are you feeling alone or facing a trial that seems insurmountable?  If so, trust God and give it to Him.
