SE Students - No Matter What - Part 4Sample
There’s some good news and some bad news. Here is the bad news: you are going to go through trouble in life. This shouldn’t be news to you in the year 2020, but if it is, here are just a few of the troubles you may experience in life: splinters, belly flops, bad hair cuts, failed tests, mean friends, bullying, sickness, broken promises, flat tires, more excuses, absent parents, anxiety and depression, divorce, break ups, lies, gossiping, death, and the list goes on and on and on.
Jesus says in this world we WILL have trouble. But guess what?
Because of Jesus, there’s some good news for you, too. Jesus was crucified so that He could turn bad news into good. When He walked out of His tomb, He overcame even death!
Bad news doesn’t have to be the headline of your life if you believe that Jesus has the power to give you the good news of peace and hope, even during the troubles of this world. When trouble comes, you no longer have to overthink or be overwhelmed with what is going wrong in your life. You can overcome it, because Jesus did too!
Whenever you find yourself overthinking the world around you or are overwhelmed by the trouble you are going through, rest in the overcoming power of Jesus within you.
Are you ready to take heart through the trouble?
