NKJV 365 Day Reading PlanSample
Sacrifice Is Not Salvation.
Dying for a great cause—the supreme sacrifice — is not salvation. Discipline does not cleanse a person from sin. If that were true, then everybody who entered a penitentiary would become a Christian. Paying for wrongdoing does not make one a Christian (1 Sam. 15:22).
There is no side door into heaven. Jesus said, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved” (John 10:9).
“He who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber” (John 10:1). You cannot steal your way into heaven.
