Living in MotionSample

Today is the final day of our Living in Motion plan. We hope this has inspired you to keep moving forward in life, experiencing all God has for you!

The idea of living in motion comes from the idea we talked about in the very first day of life feeling like Déjà vu.

Life is not like a ladder, moving one step higher at a time until you reach the end. Life is actually much more like a game of monopoly, moving around the board, again and again. Gaining property and cash, avoiding prison and other player’s squares.

There are good turns and bad turns—much like life. You could be winning one round and buying up all the property, yet in the next turn, you could end up in jail!

When you play monopoly, you don't just play for your one turn—you play to win. This is the same in our faith life. We don't know what could be coming around the corner, so we build up our spiritual disciplines. We cement our foundation on the solid rock that is Christ.

As you go forward in life, what can you be building up now that will strengthen you for later?

Don't read the bible for now: Build up the word of God in your soul so it comes out at the right season.

Don't worship God because He's good in the moment. Worship him because He is forever faithful and forever Lord.

God is for you, and life is always in motion! God has a great life planned for you! Keep following him and the adventures He has in store for you!
