Living With Honor Sample

Day 13: Never Quit
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive your Word. Amen.
Read
1 Peter 1
Reflect
Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of England and a masterful genius of wartime strategy. "Never Quit," was one of Churchill's favorite quotes. It not only spurred a tired nation, it helped win a World War. A war is not won by one battle. As a protective force, we must be constant and vigilant. We must stay alert. We must be obedient to our Commander. What does it mean to live a holy life? What does Peter say we need to keep on doing (v.22)? Toward whom do I need to be more loving?
Respond
Lord, help me to be alert and ready. Prepare me for the mission you give me. Show me, Lord. Amen.
