KEEP CALM, DON’T BE AFRAID!
For they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” (Mark 6:50)
Why did Jesus tell His disciples to depart first? Why did Jesus let the storm hit them first? Then in the middle of the night, Jesus came in a way that they had never seen.
This story teaches us of how to get to know Jesus clearly, truly, and correctly. Never restrict the power of God with our own knowledge or our own experience.
When facing a problem, we are often unaware of the actual situation. This is because the fear that exist inside us is much bigger than the problem itself.
Knowledge of God grows not in safe, sufficient conditions but during strong, threatening and hard challenges. When it looks like our prayers have never been answered, we feel that we are walking alone facing problems in this life, and it seems that Jesus only passes through us, caring more for others - keep embedding in our faith. Though He seems to be delayed, Jesus will still come to us at the best time and indeed He always pays attention to us.
Be patient and keep waiting on Him, since no other power can stop His time for us.
In any kind of problem, no matter how big it is, keep believing that God can see us and definitely will help us in His time.
