DAY 10 OF 12

THE TRUE LEADER

I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.” (Ezekiel 34:16)

These days the world is looking for a reliable leader; a leader who is not only great in ideas of thought but also has an impacted life. One who makes his life as an example for others.

Jesus Christ was a leader who had a servant’s heart. Jesus Christ came to this world, not to be served, but to serve. This concept is reversed with many of the leaders of this world. They forget that a true leader is also a servant to the crowd.

As Christ’s followers we should imitate how Christ lived and led His disciples. Jesus Christ has ascended to heaven, and He has given His Holy Spirit to us who enables us to do the will of the Father.

For a long time, Israel was presided over by kings who were wicked and cruel during their rule. This led the people of Israel to also do evil in the eyes of God because they imitated what had been done by their leader.

The Lord Jesus told us to be the salt and the light of the world, so through our deeds many people would see and imitate our goodness. Let us be the foremost in the sense of setting an example for others, and through this life we can lead people to come to Christ.

Be a leader who is not only great in ideas of thought but also has an impacted life
